Meet Nataly Kalafus, D.D.S.

Dr. Kalafus grew up in Brazil, practicing dentistry there before coming to the United States. She received additional education in Restorative Dentistry at UCLA for two years, and practiced in California before moving to Illinois.

She decided to become a dentist because of her experiences as a patient. As a teen she required lots of orthodontic care, including braces and headgear. The care of the dental team and the difference in how she looked and felt inspired her to do the same for others.

Though Dr. Kalafus is a skilled general dentist, her favorite work is the Restorative Dentistry she learned at UCLA. “It is very satisfying to see the result, “ she says, “to help someone look better, feel better, get out of pain, to really touch their heart.” She makes an effort to treat every patient like family, listening and taking the time with them to ensure the best care.

In her free time, she enjoys meditating, working out, cooking, swimming, surfing and other beach activities.
